WHAT BATTERIES ARE COMPATIBLE WITH OSMO MOTORS?

OSMOEUROPA uses rechargeable lead-acid batteries 12V 4,5Ah / 5Ah / 7Ah:
• Completely sealed, they are mounted in any direction.
• They have low self-discharge.
• Not restricted for air transport
TIP:
We always opt for batteries with AGM Technology (Absorbent Glass Mat)
for efficient gas recombination that provides greater performance and safety.

HOW OFTEN TO CHANGE BATTERIES IN OSMO MOTORS?
A battery has a half-life of 2 to 3 years,
depending on the operation of the system and its environment, as long as the charge maintenance has been adequate.
TIP:
Check the batteries in the lifting motor annually
to ensure proper operation.
For EMERGENCY systems – monthly.

WHERE TO FIND THE SPARE BATTERIES?
OSMOEUROPA sells batteries for replacement,
but they are standardized and easily found in any market.

HOW TO MAINTAIN THE BATTERIES CORRECTLY?
– WITH 230V:
CHECK THE BATTERIES in the motor on a regular basis.
– WITH 230V:
NEVER TURN OFF THE REGULATOR connected to the motor.
– WITHOUT 230V:
IT IS MANDATORY to charge the batteries at least 60 minutes a day (not less).
– WITHOUT 230V:
The charger of the backup battery must be 10% of the its total Amperage.
– WITHOUT 230V:
Mandatory to include OSMO DC-DC converter between the regulator and the backup battery
– ALL FACILITIES:
If the installation is not going to be used for a long time and there is no other choice but to turn off the regulator,
DISCONNECT THE BATTERIES from the motor
